What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology is a two-semester science and career preparatory course where students learn the knowledge & skills required for the profession of athletic training. This includes the anatomy of the human skeleton and muscular systems, injury mechanisms and treatment protocols. Students learn by observation & practice both in-class and in a professional environment. As part of the course, students are required to complete 10 hours each semester with a qualified medical professional in a sports medicine related field.

To create a hands-on learning environment, our classrooms need supplies. You can help by donating some of these low-cost materials to support science education at CVHS. Check out our most recent Amazon wishlist to see what you can provide.
Students may find that they need help in a class. The school offers a free help center for every department where students can drop in and get support for all academic subjects. Click here to see the flyer for more info.
